Hotel J Nacka Strand, a Design Hotels™ member, sits among stately oaks and pines with an enchanting view over the marina, the Royal Park Djurgården and the lively boat life on the sea. The inspiration by classic Newport summer mansions in the U.S. is apparent, a combination of timeless luxury and genuine comfort where the colours red, white and blue are dominant and paired with oiled woodwork and dark, varnished floors. Most of the beautiful hotel rooms have a balcony or their own patio with a view of one of the world’s most beautiful harbour entrances. In the summer you can enjoy your morning coffee in our tranquil garden where the waves lap against the shore. When the winter season starts we head for the indoors and light up the fireplace in the lounge, where you can enjoy the cosiness of comfy sofas and the crackle from the fire.

Right now we are building an additional 113 rooms and conference facilities for up to 160 persons that will be ready in August 2011.
